Terms of Service

4.1 Authorization

By connecting your Google Business Profile, you authorize Recensio to:
- Read reviews from your profile
- Publish responses that you have explicitly approved
- Access basic profile information necessary to provide the Service

4.2 Scope of Access

We request only the business.manage OAuth scope, which is the minimum necessary to provide the Service.

4.3 Disconnection

You may disconnect your Google Business Profile at any time through the Settings page. Upon disconnection:
- Your Google OAuth token is immediately deleted
- Recensio will no longer access your Google Business Profile
- Your existing review data in Recensio remains until you delete your account

Please note that Google may automatically revoke access tokens for accounts that remain inactive for an extended period. In such cases, Recensio is not responsible for the automatic disconnection, and you may need to reconnect your profile.
Your use of Google services through Recensio is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Recensio operates in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5.1 Nature of AI Output

Recensio uses artificial intelligence to generate draft responses to reviews. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. The AI may occasionally produce responses that are:
- Inaccurate or inappropriate
- Not aligned with your business tone or values
- In need of editing or correction

5.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all responses published through Recensio. By approving a response (whether AI-generated, edited, or written by you), you confirm that:
- You have reviewed the content
- You approve its publication on your Google Business Profile
- The response complies with Google's content policies

5.3 Google Review Policies

Google has specific policies regarding review responses (including restrictions on links, phone numbers, and promotional content). Recensio is not liable if an AI-drafted response, approved by you, results in a warning or penalty from Google for policy violations. It is your responsibility to ensure that approved responses comply with Google's current guidelines.

5.4 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that AI-generated responses will be error-free, appropriate for every situation, or achieve any particular outcome. Recensio provides a tool to assist you; the final decision and responsibility for published content rests entirely with you.

6.1 Plans and Pricing

Recensio offers subscription plans as described on our pricing page. Prices are in Euros (EUR) and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

6.2 Free Trial

New accounts receive a free trial period. No payment is required during the trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.

6.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- Your data remains accessible until the billing period ends

6.5 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

8.1 Our Property

The Service, including its software, design, features, and documentation, is owned by Recensio.ai and protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of:
- Your business information
- Your custom instructions and preferences
- Responses you write or edit
- Your review data

8.3 License

You grant Recensio a limited license to use your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service, including sending review text to our AI provider for response generation.

9.1 Service Availability

Recensio is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for any temporary unavailability of the Service.

9.2 AI Output

We are not liable for any damages resulting from AI-generated content, including but not limited to:
- Responses that contain inaccurate information
- Responses that negatively impact your business reputation
- Any consequences of publishing AI-generated content

9.3 Google Account

We are not liable for:
- Suspension or termination of your Google Business Profile by Google
- Changes to Google's APIs, policies, or terms that affect the Service
- Loss of reviews or data on Google's platform

9.4 Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Recensio in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You use the Service for prohibited conduct
- Your payment fails and remains unresolved
- Required by law or by Google's policies

We will provide reasonable notice before termination, except in cases of severe or repeated violations.
